Announcing the Women and Investing Series!
Space Coast Members,
Ladies, it’s time to step up and expand your investing knowledge! BetterInvesting (BI) and your local Space Coast Chapter are offering a series of investing classes. The first class is specifically designed for women. Gentlemen, this series is great for your mom, wife, daughters, nieces, female cousins, friends, co-workers, etc. Help us spread the word! There is no need to be a Better Investing member to register for this series. Registration is open to the public.
The first class in the series is "Women and Investing". It will be given on Saturday, Nov 5, 2011 from 9 am to 11 am at Grace Presbyterian Church, located at 3146 NW 13th Street, Gainesville, FL.
Women and Investing
We start off with some startling statistics on women as investors. What we found in our research might just surprise you. Then we move on to learn about the history and the mechanics of the stock market. How does the market work? Is there an order to buying and selling stocks? Whose order gets filled first?
The price to participate in the first class is $10 per person. All classes will be held at Grace Presbyterian Church, 3146 NW 13th Street, Gainesville.

BetterInvesting Space Coast Chapter
From the Space Coast to the Gulf Coast, the Space Coast Chapter covers all of Central Florida
The Space Coast Chapter is made up of local volunteers. Our primary goal is investor education for our clubs and members in East and Central Florida. We assist in the formation of new clubs, visit established clubs for training and trouble-shooting, and conduct training sessions for members and the public. Classes are held online and in our local communities.
